As I begin my first post of the New Year, I want to say "Thank you" to all my friends and readers who voted for me in the Wellsphere People's Health Blogger Awards. When the final votes were counted, I was awarded "Best of Category" Winner 2009 in the celiac disease community.
I feel honored, but getting an award was not the reason I started my blog, but a serendipity that came along the way while doing something that gives me great pleasure. I enjoy sharing my recipes and making new gluten-free friends. Through my blog, I have met wonderful people that I would have never gotten to know if I had not been gluten-free and blogging. Another serendipity!
This past year my heart has been touched by your comments and kind words. I think Mother Teresa says it best.
"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."
It has been my desire to bless you, but I feel that my life has been blessed beyond words that I know how to write.
If I had one wish from the "magic blogging genie", it would be that you, my readers would write and let me get to know each of you better. Perhaps you could tell me a little about you and your life, or what makes you happiest. I would love to hear from you all.
I pray that your New Year is full of God's blessings! xox
