Glory to God in the Highest, and on Earth Peace, Good Will Toward Men

I'm sitting here drinking my warm tea reflecting back over our day. It was a wonderful day with family sharing gifts and great food as we celebrated the birth of of Saviour, Jesus. We traveled home a little early due to a Winter storm being on the way here in North Carolina. A rare event for us to have a white Christmas.  Within a few miles from home, the snow began to fall and we turned up the Christmas music - a magical moment of singing carols driving home with the beauty and anticipation of snow.  Tonight, It is my prayer that you know His love for you.  Merry Christmas and love to all!

Luke 2

          The Birth of Jesus
8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men

  3. Debbie, it sounds like you had a great CHRISTmas. We traveled north and spent a week with my sister. It didn't snow on Christmas, but the ground had about six inches of snow already. I know the snow was a real treat for many southerners. Happy new year!
